This is the first Ismaili Mosque in North America. The building is a reinforced concrete structure, predominantly cast in situ. The floors and roofs are diagonal grids of beams spanning up to 150 feet (46 metres), covering rectangular and square areas. The prayer hall roof is a grid of arch-like beams rising towards the center of the square room. Hemispherical precast concrete domes, 20 feet (6 metres) in diameter, are incorporated into an integral part of the roof structure.

The exhibition and website were created under the patronage of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Vancouver.
