Wanuskewin is a multi-award winning Plains Indigenous Cultural Heritage Site, located minutes from downtown Saskatoon. This newly renovated Cultural Learning center features art galleries, restaurant and gift shop all celebrating authentic First Nations culture and traditions. Exhibits, displays, films and cultural tours all showcase the significance of the land where all Nations have gathered for over 6400 years. Live dance and musical presentations are offered on weekends or daily throughout the summer months. In addition Wanuskewin features over 7km of hiking trails, 19 unique archaeological points of interest for guests to visit on either a guided or unguided tours. Currently on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Designation.
