Landscape Architect and Urban Design Lead, Maciej Gołaszewski is an Associate and a leader in landscape architecture and urban design, possessing over fifteen years of professional experience in British Columbia. He is certified as an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) and a LEED Green Associate (LEED® GA). He holds a BLA from the University of Warmia and Mazury (2010) and an MLA from the University of Guelph (2014). Gołaszewski specializes in integrating sustainable principles across various project scales, from master plans and large-scale infrastructure developments to temporary spaces. His methodology combines innovative design concepts with analysis driven by science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). He consistently seeks to solve ecological and social challenges through inclusive, ecologically balanced, and climate-resilient solutions. As Senior Landscape Architect and team lead at Stantec Consulting in Vancouver (2015–2024), he directed interdisciplinary projects. His notable works include the Activity Hubs Master Plan in Mission, BC, the Four Plazas Initiative in Vancouver, and the award-winning Energy Pop-Up Park. Maciej actively promotes collaboration between planners and the STEM community. He contributes to the profession as a design review panel advisor for Vancouver and New Westminster.
